A Public Policy enthusiast with 2 years of work experience in Non-Profit sector.
I am passionate about working on pertinent societal issues through social welfare, community outreach and effective policy making. I identify myself as a scholar of Humanities and also hold a Graduate Diploma in Management from University of London.

Currently I am pursuing Master's of Public Administration from Clark University, Worcester, after completing my degree I look forward to work in Non-Profit sector as a Canvasser or Community Outreach Officer.

Undergraduate degree as Bachelor's of Arts, History and Political Science were majors. I was also part of my College dance Society.

1) Teach For India

 New Delhi, India                                          September 2022-November 2022

 Research & Innovation Intern

  • Analyzed qualitative and quantitative data to identify key ecosystem players in education in New Delhi.

  • Developed a strategic plan for partnerships with public schools in New Delhi's outskirts.

  • Examined and assessed the efficacy of blended learning initiatives implemented in New Delhi's public schools.

 

2) Swacchalay

 New Delhi, India                                              October 2020-November 2020

 Policy Research Intern

  • Facilitated administrative and internal team operations, prepared presentations and drafted reports.

  • Performed secondary research on public sanitation issues and investigated problems faced by LGBTQ community in India.

  • Identified and networked with potential interest groups and stakeholders to highlight the issues of LGBTQ community.

3) Humans For Humanity

 New Delhi, India                                                           January 2018-June 2019

 Research Intern

  • Facilitated public outreach by educating people from low-income areas on importance of Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facilities for Women.

  • Reviewed and drafted reports on WASH program which were submitted to Government of India.

  • Surveyed and collected data from slums of New Delhi on WASH program for the NPO, data indicated improved lifestyle, health and WASH practices of over 500 low-income households.

Projects/extracurricular Activities 

-Research Paper Publication

Research Paper Published in premier Indo-centric Journal World Focus February 2022

• World Focus is a Peer Reviewed/Referred Research Journal, my research paper published in February 2022 edition – Political Unrest in Middle-East and North Africa Region

• Paper interpreted contemporary status of Israel-Palestine conflict, with a synopsis of historical significance of religion in the region

• Explored a proposed solution to the complex intercommunal conflict between Jews and Arab Muslims

-Western Dance Society

  Treasurer; August 2017-May 2019

  • Established fundraising goals, planned and administered annual fundraising campaigns, achieved fundraising goals with a financial cushion of ₹10k each year.

  • Identified potential sponsors during college fest and managed terms of support with stall owners.

  • Supervised junior students and their finances during travel for inter-college competitions.
